Holidays…

My favorite thing about the holidays would have to be getting together with all the family that I haven’t seen in so long.  We all get together in my grandmothers living room and watch Christmas Vacation.  It’s like a tradition us all laughing and having a good time.  I love my family and any time I get to spend with them I am not going to take it for granted.  Holidays are times of cheer and during this time my dad’s side of the family also gather around the piano and sing until we can’t no more. Of course I don’t sing but I do love to hear my family sing.  It blesses my heart.  This is just a few things I love about the holidays..

Christmas time is here!

Wow, it’s Christmas time already? I can’t believe that! This I would have to say is my FAVORITE time of the year.. All the beautiful lights, and the Christmas trees all decorated with cheer. Plus you get to spend the time with family that you normally don’t ever get to do. Christmas isn’t just about the gifts and the decorations but with my family it is also about the birth of Jesus Christ. My family and I always celebrate this wonderful miracle by reading the story about the birth on Christmas eve.

What I want for Christmas is my family (like the whollleee family) to get along better. I don’t want nothing this year from who you call Santa. I think I have everything I already need why ask for anything. Thanks for reading..

Thanksgiving!!!

Yay!! Thanksgiving is finally here. I have to say that it is one of my FAVORITE holidays of the year, aside from Christmas.  All the time spending with your family that  you never got to see throughout the year.   With a family like mine it’s definitely a really good time. Then you also get all the FREE food. You can eat and eat and eat until you can’t eat no more. ha ha. The best time is getting together though. I am thankful for my friends and my family. I am also thankful for all the many things that my family had done for me to help me out. I am thankful even for all the blessings God has givin me. HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone!! =)

Gone…

People in the army,navy and any other base is really hard.  Could you imagine live in a world were everyone is after you.  It would be so frightening to be in along with all of that.  Imagine being at home.  Waiting for a call from the one gone or waiting for a letter to come in the mail saying that everything is okay. I couldn’t live being an army wife. I would worry to much.  What if everything went wrong and the one I love is… Gone.  How would I come to think of that.  But if one that I love did happen to go into the army I would honor them and respect them.  I would give them everything I could to help.  As we all should do anyways.  I am proud of our Army and I am proud to be an American.

Hunger Games Chapter 21-27

Chapter 21- She finds a cave to hide Peeta in and tries and camouflage it. She gets some food for Peeta and her. Then they are invited to a feast. Katniss goes there. She find a backpack there with there district name on it.

Chapter 22- She is conscious. Peeta is better now. Katniss kisses Peeta. They talk for a while about what they are going to do next.

Chapter 23-They get some food from there sponsors. The decide that they are going to get a small protion at a time to save it. Thresh ends up dying. They have only 4 people left. Katniss, Peeta, Cato, and Foxface.

Chapter 24-Foxface ends up dieing. Peeta found some berries. But they were the bad kind. Foxface seen him picking them and she ate them and died. Now its just Katniss, Peets, and Cato left in the games.

Chapter 25- When the get to the lake to kill Cato. They don’t see him there. All of the sudden they see him running from something. Its some type of animal going after Cato. They jump on the horn to get away from them. Cato is up there. Cato ends up falling off of it and the animals get him. After a while he finally dies

Chapter 26-Yay! They finally won!!…..Wait They are saying that only one of them can live. Oh no! Who is it going to be?? They decide that they are both going to die together at the same time. The get those berries and out them in there mouth at the same time. As soon as they put it in there mouth, they say that they both won. Yay!

Chapter 27- They go back for an interview. Everyone cheers loudly for them. They watch the highlights of the games. Then its time to go. They have another interview in the next day. Her and Peeta get in a little fight they can’t decide whether they love each other or not. Then after the interview they head back home. When they get off of the train they grab each0thers hand for the cameras one last time. SHe dreads when she is going to have to let his hand go.

Life and sports.

I have had every injury known to man. I have done gymnastics for like five years and Now since I quit I can’t do another sport because my body can not handle the physical task of a sport.

Chapter 15-20 Hunger games..

Chapter 15-Katniss tries to heal her wounds. Her sponsers give her some medicine to heal her burns. Her and Rue become partners. Rue heals her sting wounds. The come up with a plan to stop the careers.

Chapter 16-Her and Rue are trying to come up with a plan to stop the Careers. They decide that they are going to try and burn there food supply and equipment.

Chapter 17-After the explosion Katniss can’t hear anything. She thinks that she might have went deaf because of the impact from the explosion. Her left ear starts bleeding. She tries to find Rue but she can’t find her. So she stays up in a tree until she comes. She doesn’t come. After a while she goes looking for her. All of the sudden she hears a loud scream she knows it was from Rue

Chapter 18- Whenever she gets there to Rue. HSe sees that one of the careers have got her tangled up in a net and she has a spear in her side. Katniss shoots him in his neck with a bow and arrow. He dies. Rue in on the ground in pain. Katniss knows she is about to die. Rue wants her to sing to her. She can she that Rue is starting to breathe more slowly. Then…..she dies. Wow I feel bad for them after all they went through.

Chapter 19- Katniss finds Peeta. She finds him in some mud hiding. SHe gets him cleaned up. She notices that he is hurt so she tries and takes care of him. YaY!!

Chapter 20-  He is getting a little worse. She is trying her best to help him. Then they get invited to a fest. Haymitch gives them some medicine for Peeta.

 

Chapter 11-14 in Hunger Games..

Chapter 11- the beginning of the games Katniss is trying to figure out if she wants to get the supplies first or head out for the woods. She gets a pretty good supply of items. She got a backpack with a sleeping bag, matches, wire, and some others thing. That night she heres someone make a fire near her. Then they kill that person. It was a group of them that did. Peeta was in that group. Can you believe that?

Chapter 12- Katniss can’t find water and now she is starting to hydrate over this. She think she’s going die. Will she? She falls in the mud as soon as she starts to give up whitch I think is pretty funny.

Chapter 13 and 14- Oh NO!!! Katniss gets in a fire. The gamemakers got her in a trap. She got a alot of burns from it. She climbs up in a tree to get away from the smoke from the fire. She cuts the branch were the nest is. It is a next of tracker jackers. She drops it on the and it kills two of the careers. Some of them get stung but they still live. SHe gets stung 3 times. But she is ok.

Hunger Games Continued…..

Chapter 8- She left earlier. Why? Was she embarrassed? Why did she leave the private session, her time to train without any disturbances, why? I wonder if she ruined everything like she thinks. They won’t do anything to her mother or Prim I wouldn’t think. Now it’s dinner time and I got a lot of explaining to do. Katniss go butterflies in her stomach and I don’t blame her. I would be an wreck if this happened to me, but she did bring it to herself in my mind. She didn’t have to lash out at the first sign of danger, how is gonna make it in the games? Now everything is going is going good for her, I mean apparently everyone loved her raged and how she lashed out on the first sign of danger. I am proud of her. I wonder how her mother and Prim are doing? Is Gale helping them as he promised Katniss he would? I think he is. Everything in this chapter turned out all fine and dandy.

Chapter 9- Very entertaining it’s getting closer and closer to the games and I imagine her nerves are starting to set it. I know mine would be.  She was very happy that the audience liked her storming out.  I don’t think she likes interviews to well. I love the new outfits.

Chapter 10- Let the games begin, It was funny when Peeta  fell in the flowers though.  That night she can’t sleep, so she goes up to the roof and sees Peeta there. Her and Peeta talk a little. The next day she is in a hover craft heading to the Hunger Games she is a little nervous about it.

The Hunger Games Continued…

Chapter 6- It was good. It was about their training, which to me they need it. I would be nervous if I was Katniss and Peeta. Honestly to me I would have told Effie Trinket that I wanted to ride the elevator if I was Katniss.  I hate that Haymitch is always drunk though, they need there time to train and what not and he’s over in the corner some where passed out. I hate that.  Good thing they have Effie and Cinna or else that wouldn’t know what to do it’s pathetic. I can’t believe she recognized the girl either, and I felt bad for the girl as well. That would truly stink to have your tongue cut in my mind. I would have admitted that I knew her though because I know that if I was that girl I would have wanted to feel and little loved by somelse, wouldn’t you? I know it would have been extremely hard but I would have done it. I also thought it was sweet when Peeta was so kind as to listen to Katniss speak the words that she had been wishing to scream out all day. Sometimes it’s nice to have an hear to hear.

Chapter 7-                                                                                                                                                      I hate it when I have disturbing dreams, don’t you? My mind if I was in Katniss position would not be as calm and collective as she is.  It would actually be quite the opposite. I bet it’s really hard for Katniss being away from her mother and Prim all these nor knowing whether you’ll come back or not. Now this the chapter where they start there training with all the other tributes. I would be NERVOUS… I we all know Katniss was. It was really smart of them to wait until the private session to use the heavier weapons as oppose to the other tributes which that’s what they went to the first day.  I wonder if they have a plan as well as Peeta and Katniss. It was amazing to me how she shot that bow and arrow to. WOW the description may it that much better in the book. It was pretty funny when she shot the bow and arrow and the bow land on the wall behind those people with the apple from their feast. It was pretty funny. But she did it out of anger and I know for her purpose I would have been mad to. I wonder how Peeta did in his private session?
